Applied Health Sciences Specializations
Anesthesia and Intensive Care (surgical, respiratory, cardiac)
Specialist working shoulder-to-shoulder with the ICU team, fully versed in all possible critical cases, anesthesiology science, patient care and monitoring, and all operating room equipment.
Respiratory Care
Providing actual, effective and safe treatment and resuscitation — cardiac resuscitation, respiratory resuscitation, cardiothoracic surgery units.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology
Specialist in medical imaging technologies: X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI. Without this specialization the physician cannot diagnose accurately — accurate diagnosis is 50% of patient treatment. Without it, no effective treatment exists as the health problem hasn't been identified.
Medical Laboratories
Drawing, preparing and analyzing medical samples of all types accurately and rapidly, operating all medical analysis devices, maintaining professional safety standards for specialist and patient.
Preventive Medicine
Health professionals versed in disease prevention individually and socially, capable of anticipating and preventing diseases before they occur — applying the principle that prevention is better than cure.
Medical Equipment Maintenance and Development
Specialist in medical equipment maintenance, operation monitoring, development and installation — without them hospitals lack any advanced technological treatment devices.
Optics and Vision Sciences
Identifying simple vision defects, fitting glasses and contact lenses, conducting vision tests and exercises, versed in vision sciences and optical physics laws.
Dental Prosthetics
Responsible for various dental prosthetics and their manufacture and preparing materials used in them — a pivotal role complementing the dentist's work.
Health Management and Administrative IT
Specialist in health administration sciences and IT for health bodies and their governing laws, capable of operating modern technologies and electronic administration systems.

Undergraduate Study System
- 4 academic years, specialization from year two
- Year 5 ("internship year") — practical field training in medical hospitals like human medicine
- Teaching in English
- Postgraduate: 2–5 years
Admission Requirements — Undergraduate
- Non-Egyptian nationality
- High school diploma from accredited source minimum 55%
- Apply within official deadlines (before September)
Postgraduate Admission Requirements
- Non-Egyptian, valid passport
- Bachelor's with acceptable grade for Master's + full internship year certificate
- Master's with acceptable grade for PhD
- Degree transcripts and embassy approval letter specifying faculty, funding source, academic year and target degree
