Studying social work in Egypt for international students trains individuals to participate in community and social service work, developing individuals, families and groups. Students study human behaviour and all social systems, learning how to develop them to solve problems and improve service levels.
Integrated Academic and Practical System
Students receive field training in diverse social institutions gaining practical experience in:
- Hospitals, psychiatric clinics, factories and companies
- Addiction treatment centers, rehabilitation and reform centers, orphanages
- Youth centers, elderly care homes, schools, disability centers
- Police departments, juvenile rehabilitation centers
A mandatory camp at the end of Year 3 develops independence, leadership and situational decision-making.

Study System
4 years bachelor's — field training from year one + mandatory camp at end of year three. Postgraduate: 2–5 years.

- Registration: $1,500 | Annual undergraduate: $3,000 | Annual postgraduate: $4,500
Admission Requirements
- Non-Egyptian nationality, embassy approval, apply May–September
- Secondary school minimum 50% (excluding religious, sports and conduct grades)
- Master's: social work bachelor's with acceptable grade + IELTS/TOEFL + degree equivalency
- PhD: master's with acceptable grade
