Overview of Alamein International University (AIU) for International Students
Alamein International University (AIU) was established by Presidential Decree No. 435 of 2020, located in New Alamein City, Matrouh Governorate — a smart coastal city on the Mediterranean Sea with a luxurious tourist character. It offers 44+ academic programmes across 13 study areas in 7 faculties, including 9 international programmes in partnership with global universities (University of Louisville, West Virginia University, University of Maryland, William Paterson University, and others).
The campus includes: a central library, outdoor theatre, university hospital and dental hospital, 10 faculty buildings and 4 student residential towers. Language of instruction: English in most programmes. Relatively low tuition and living costs compared to the global educational level offered.

Admission Requirements for International Students
- Non-Egyptian nationality with a valid passport
- For undergraduate: High school diploma meeting the faculty's minimum grade
- Internship certificate for medical specialisations
- Degree equivalency from Egypt's Supreme Council of Universities
- Medical clearance certificate
- TOEFL or IELTS for postgraduate programmes
- Embassy approval specifying faculty and academic year
- Documents certified by home country foreign ministry and Egyptian embassy
- Submit documents from May to December
